We’re pleased to announce that Duncan & Toplis IT services, Datcom, has had its CE+ accreditation renewed for another year.

Knowing your data is safe with Duncan & Toplis: Our Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation

This means we’re capable of protecting all the data we hold from the vast majority of potential cyberattacks, so you can be confident that your data is in safe hands at Duncan & Toplis.

Cyber Essentials helps keep you safe against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates our commitment to cyber security. It is an effective scheme, backed by the UK Government, that protects organisations from a vast range of the most commonly used cyber attacks.

The vast majority of cyber attacks are relatively basic, carried out by opportunistic, unskilled criminals but one in five UK businesses have been a victim of cybercrime in the last year.

The Cyber Essentials+ accreditation shows that organisations have the skills and knowledge to be able to identify and report these attacks, with the aim of preventing any serious damage being done.

There are two levels of certification that a business can obtain; either Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus which requires passing a hands-on technical verification process, as we have.

Being certified by Cyber Essentials Plus for another year provides you and our team with the peace of mind that our defences will protect us against the vast majority of cyber attacks, although we must always be vigilant.

We can prevent ourselves from becoming victims of the most common attacks and we have measures in place to swiftly respond to any breaches or cyber incidents and minimise their impact.

As a Duncan & Toplis client, this should provide you reassurance and peace of mind, knowing we are as secure and well-prepared as possible. We take cyber security seriously at Duncan & Toplis and strive to do everything we can to ensure your information remains safe and secure with us.

Andrew Townsend, the Managing Director of Duncan & Toplis’ IT Services, Datcom said:

“I’m thrilled that we’ve managed to obtain our Cyber Essentials+ accreditation for yet another year, demonstrating our commitment to our clients and colleagues, helping to keep our data as secure as possible.
