What's newOffice 2010 and Office 2016 for Mac is being retired on 13th October 2020. Microsoft will no longer support or release security updates for either product. This may also affect compatibility with Office 365 apps such as Exchange Online and OneDrive.
How does this affect me?
- If you are using Office 2010 or Office 2016 for Mac you must upgrade to the latest version of Office to protect yourself against security vulnerabilities.
What do I need to do?
- If you use Office 365 Business Standard, Office 365 Business Premium, Office 365 Apps for Business or Office 365 Enterprise you are entitled to upgrade to the latest edition.
- If your device is a Datcom managed device we will automatically upgrade the edition of Office for you.
- If your device is unmanaged you will need to log a ticket with Datcom or your 1st line support to receive the upgrade.
