The SolutionOur approach and solution were driven by a need to reach a point where most employees could work from home in as short a time as possible. We utilised existing RDS infrastructure, which enabled us to add more servers, as required, to meet the increased demand, whilst providing the solution quickly. At the same time, we facilitated the secure connections for users into these systems by utilising Duo Security. This is a multi-factor authentication technology that requires a second method of authorisation to log in, as well as a password. The overall solution has met the needs and objectives of the original brief and delivered a home working environment that is both robust and secure enough to ensure business continuity.
